Stupid Little Key-Chain

He came up to me one morning as I was about to get into the elevator and said

“So I bought you a ‘stupid little key-chain’. I don’t know if you’ll like it but I know it’ll match your keys.”

I looked at him and smiled. “This is the cutest ‘stupid little key-chain’ I’ve seen. I really like it and it definitely matches my keys.”

Today as I got into my car I noticed my ‘stupid little key-chain’ hanging from my keys and it reminded me of a not-so ‘stupid little friend’ whose cute smile I've grown to miss.
